Name: TamiI was just reading your article on litter box and litter. I know our kitten would not follow the rules, but, he is allergic/extremely sensitive to detergent. His paws become very swollen, hot, start off itching and then turn painful. We were lucky that since it was a surface allergen, I set him in a tub of water and complete rinsed his feet for about 10 minutes. Just an FYI.

I always assumed cats lacked mental the ability understand their image in a mirror which is why I never previously saw cats looking in one.
After this article and image I think I changed my opinion. I guess full grown cats are smart enough to know it's their image and just don't care cause its pointless to look. Hence this kitten hasn't put all the pieces together yet so its still interested.
Which now makes it even more amusing that monkeys and humans are so overly fascinated with their own image.
